PACIFICA GRADUATE INSTITUTE, Santa Barbara, California
Pacifica Graduate Institute is one of the top two international graduate schools of Jungian and Depth Psychology. Faculty are often world renowned, some live locally, others fly in, and sometimes they travel internationally to teach. Pacifica houses the archives of Joseph Campbell and Maria Gimbutas, along with other notable scholars in the field. Both Santa Barbara campuses are stunningly beautiful. A significant focus is placed on high-quality education and student success. The students I worked with ranged in professional backgrounds from priests, ministers, and nuns, to social workers, artists, academics, Hollywood writers and animation film artists, and medical doctors.
